Cal-ZILLA adds another powerful feature to Woodpeckers Woodworking Rules. These rules have been customer favorites for decades thanks to their size, shape and engraving accuracy. Cal-ZILLA expands their versatility by adding a set of caliper jaws with just two machine screws. Mounted on a 49-1/2" Woodworking Rule, Cal-ZILLA eliminates the guesswork of start and stop points for inside or outside measurements up to 46". The threaded holes needed to mount the fixed jaw are already machined into every Woodpeckers Woodworking Rule (except 6" models). Their precise location relative to the end of the rule sets the fixed jaw exactly at the zero point. The sliding jaw rides on low-friction UHMW glide strips, while the Delrin locking contact point secures the jaw without marring the anodized aluminum rule. Cal-ZILLA's inside measuring tips match the outside jaws perfectly. Measure a stopped groove, then use the same setting to check the tongue length on the mating piece. Hole Center Attachments are included—just clamp them onto the jaw tips to measure center-to-center hole spacing accurately. A wall-mountable Rack-It keeps your Cal-ZILLA organized and ready for use. The bundled rule features metric on one edge and inches on the other, both starting from the same end. Made in the USA in Woodpeckers’ Strongsville, Ohio facility.
